Seal Rocks 25-26 September

Grey Nurse Sharks, Green Sea Turtles and Rays- Seal Rocks is one of NUDES’ most spectacular trips!

The weekend will include two shore dives at Statis Rock at Seal Rocks, a bbq dinner, air fills, a campfire, marshmallows, breakfast, camp site hire and transport. We will need 4 drivers for the trip so if you have a car and are willing to drive that would be great! You will be reimbursed for fuel.

Day 1 - We will set off from NUDES gear store at 8:00am on Sunday. After getting to Seal Rocks and setting up camp we will go for our first dive at Statis Rock. After the dive, we will head back to camp for a BBQ, campfire, marshmallows and good times.

Day 2 - We will get up and head for our second dive around 11 am. After the dive, we can hang out at the beach for a while, then head back to the gear store to wash and put away gear. Snorkelers are welcomed!

What to bring:

• Change of clothes

• Drink- alcoholic and or/ soft drinks
• YOUR DIVING CERTIFICATION CARD

If you don’t have a tent or sleeping bag consider joining the mountaineering club or buying one cheaply from kmart. Please come into the gear store during opening hours on Tuesday 20th or Friday 23rd to hire gear for the trip. You can leave the equipment at the gear store.

The dive site depth is a maximum of 15m , however there is about a 300m surface swim to the dive site so make sure you're comfortable swimming that distance whilst in full kit!
