You are an Advanced Open Water Diver and you love exploring wrecks?! Then, this trip is for you!!!
Come and Join NUDES on 3rd December to explore the LVT4(a) Amphibious Tank and the Yarra Yarra paddle steamer out of Newcastle Port!
Here are the details of the TRIP:
- Double Boat Dive with Grey Nurse Charters
- Includes airfill of first cylinder and hire of second steel cylinder
- Min Divers required: 5 [confirmation by Wednesday 30th]
- Max 8 divers
- Meeting GNC at Carrington Boat Ramp around 8:30am [back there around 1pm] (goo.gl/FxpvkI)
- Soup & snacks will be provided between dives
- Do NOT forgot Hat & Water
This trip requires divers to be at least Advanced Open Water certified (AOW)!
Wrecks Story:
LVT4(a): Amphibious tank Ex US Army WWII sank in an Australian Army exercise on March 1954, 3 died when a number of LVT4(a) and DUKs sank
Irresistible: Harbour tug scuttled in 1931
Yarra Yarra: Paddle Steamer sank in a storm in 1887, 8 died
